Tenderfoot 2013

STH72483 In the first bank holiday of May 2013 the Scouts visited Drum Hill  for first ever "tenderfoot" camp.  This type of camp is different from the normal activity packed events.

The idea is that the Scouts spend much more time on the basics of camping.  So we spent most of Saturday putting the brand new tents up and spend the rest of the camp making fires and taking as long as it took to cook the differ and so on.  This also meant that the Scouts had much more free time than is normal and they made the most of it all.

We did squeeze in a couple of wide games and a go on the caving/back hole.  Overall the camp went down well with the small group who attended and all being well we run another next year.
