St. George's Day 2016

St. George's Day is the most important day in the Scouting.  On this day we not only remember our patron saint but we all stand up and renew our Scouting promise.  We also try to be the largest the group on parade in our district!  This year's event was actually held on St. George's Day, Saturday 23rd of April.
This year it was decided not to have the normal parade through the city, but to instead to have a more information event at Elvaston Castle.  The weather was good so we were all able to enjoy this new event which had the traditional George and Dragon sketch and lots of popular songs.
